Employees are not serious about anything here. Waited 15 minutes for a coffee drink while employees are joking around. Totally forgot about my order. After waiting for a while, and the person after me got their drink already, I asked about my drink. Apparently, the "newer" person there threw out my drink order in the trash, and I was left waiting in limbo. If the employees weren't wasting their time joking and talking amongst themselves, they should have noticed that someone was waiting by the coffee pickup area, and should have inquired if I was waiting for something. I was the only person waiting in the pickup area, and it wasn't even busy. But instead, they keep joking around and continue with their unserious attitude towards their work. There's no accountability for anything here, and the person who looked like the manager/supervisor also didn't seem to care or feel bad that my order was thrown out. Paris Baguette is more of a pastry shop, and not a coffee place. If you want okay pastries, then it's OK to go there, but if you want a good coffee drink, look elsewhere. Even their pastry shelf looks poor lately, compared to how it was in the past. Pastries are stacked so high, th

The staff should receive better training on how to properly operate the coffee machine. I was served an extremely hot latte that burned my throat, and it took about five days for the burn to heal. I really love their bakery and products, but after that experience I prefer not to buy coffee there. It would be important for the staff to be trained on the proper temperatures for preparing and serving coffee.

Paris Baguette quickly became one of the favorite pastry shops in Sunnyside. All the cakes are fresh, yummy and affordable. Coffee options are decent as well. Whenever we feel like having a coffee and dessert - Paris Baguette is usually our top choice in the neighborhood.
